Congratulations to The Mattioni’s in Carmel for being the $500 winner in our job sign lottery contest. All they had to do was place an Action Air job sign in their yard, and leave it in place until drawing day. When their name was drawn, we drove by the home to make sure the job sign was still in place…it was… and they won! What an easy way to win 500 bucks! Participants came from all around our service area such as Fishers, Carmel, Geist, Indy, Oaklandon, Castleton, Noblesville, Westfield, Anderson, McCordsville, and Pendelton. Thanks to all the folks who joined in, we will be doing it again soon!
We are sometimes asked why we do the job sign contest. We do the contest 2-3 times a year as a fun, creative way to promote our services here at Action Air. Advertising is expensive, and sometimes not very effective, so we allow a certain amount of our marketing budget for this contest each year as another way to get the word out about what a great company we are, and to have some fun. We win by having lots of job signs displayed, and our clients win cold hard cash!

Action Air is one of only a couple of companies in the Indy metro area to offer clients the Air Advice indoor air quality monitor. Now, instead of just guessing how we can help our clients with their indoor air quality, we can actually monitor the indoor air in the home and provide a detailed report specifying areas of concern.

The Air Advice monitor is just a little black box placed in the home by us, usually for three to five days. The data is sent electronically to a third party company to be analyzed.  We will then provide the client with a detailed, minute by minute, 10 page report showing the specific problem areas.  The client will be able to see firsthand on the graphs provided details such as spikes in volatile organic compounds, temperature differences, humidity, and other indoor air pollutants.

This information is especially important with todays tightly sealed homes, and is most helpful to folks with conditions such as asthma, allergies and respiratory ailments. Even healthy individuals can suffer the effects of indoor air pollution with symptoms like watery eyes, headaches, sore throat, coughing and fatigue. Action Air can then take steps to recommend solutions to help clean up the indoor air. Adding high efficiency filtration, ultraviolet air purification, or bringing in more fresh air with an air exchange unit can all be beneficial when cleaning up the indoor environment.

Welcome to our new website! Thanks to Tom Britt from atgeist.com for all of his help getting us up and running ! We hope you find our new format very user friendly, and just to let you know…there will be many more features to come in the near future. Soon you will be able to watch “Tech Talk” to get your most common heating, air conditioning and indoor air quality questions answered. And, you will be able to “meet” the technician that is coming to your home virtually before he arrives by going online and clicking his name. We think this will be a great addition, and help new clients alleviate concerns they may have about letting a stranger into their home. This will also be a great partner to the Technician Seal of Safety program that we now participate in. For more info on this go to www.mysafetyseal.com.

We are constantly looking for ways to improve our business in order to better serve our clients. Thanks for doing business with us, we appreciate the opportunity to serve you.
